Melisse Carr – Biography
Melisse Carr is a landscape artist who lives with her family in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Her year-around
activities of gardening and artwork are balanced by the seasons. Her images reflect her observations and memories gathered while gardening, walking, paddling or snowshoeing. Melisse works in graphite, colored pencil, watercolor and lino-
cut and exhibits in gallery shows and local art festivals. Her most favorite activity is painting on location. Her cat stays
home watching the woodstove!
