I currently reside and work in Iron Mountain, Michigan where I enjoy time with family and friends. Living in places such as Charleston, South Carolina, Altus, Oklahoma and Little Lake, Michigan and traveling has left me with thousands of images and smells that I try to recreate in some way in my art and soap making. Color and texture have led to hours spent looking at and touching fabric and beads. My love affair with art began at a young age when I started designing clothes for my “Barbies”.
I currently have hand-painted silk scarves, bead and wire wrapped serving pieces, and handmade goat’s milk soap on display for sale at ArtWorks. Recently, I have started to learn the art of batik paintings and colored pencil drawing. I love quilting, gardening, reading and learning.
I am a member of the American Quilt Society and the Colored Pencil Society of America.
