Ted Rogers – Biography
Ted Rogers is a relative newcomer to the creative arts world. A retired language teacher, he began carving after moving to his retirement home in Wisconsin. He started carving caricatures in basswood and soon moved to cottonwood bark at the urging of his mentor, Tom Hower, a master carver. He enjoys working with the whimsical aspect of? bark carving?and has captured four blue ribbons in his short time working with it.
